Tomboyish Schism is an independent digital magazine and creative media platform that celebrates the contradictions that make us human — We’re a South Los Angeles–based online magazine focused on health, wealth, culture, and lifestyle as experienced in Black and urban communities across Los Angeles. We explore stories at the intersections of contradiction and truth we highlight Black and urban voices through lifestyle, culture, wellness, home, fashion, and storytelling. Our mission is to cultivate community, spark meaningful dialogue, and redefine what bold individuality looks like in digital media.

We publish a curated mix of thought-provoking articles, personal essays, event coverage, and visual stories. Expect features like LA Healthy Trends, Spilling the Tea, BloggingLA with new content drops regularly, blending journalism with creative artistic expression — always timely, relevant, and reflective of Los Angeles’ pulse. publish regularly (daily, weekly, monthly) across topics like LA Healthy Trends, Spilling the Tea (social media gossip, culture & commentary), homeownership, delicious recipes, fashion gear, beauty trends, and more.
