PORTLAND, Ore. October 28, 2024 — In an alarming incident early Monday morning, fires destroyed hundreds of ballots in a ballot box in Vancouver and three ballots in a separate ballot box fire in Portland, just days ahead of the Nov. 5 general election. Both incidents are under investigation as arson cases, adding urgency to the lead-up to Election Day.

The Tea is that, In Vancouver, officers responded at approximately 4 a.m. to a ballot box fire on Southeast 164th Avenue, near Fisher's Landing Transit Depot. Police discovered a "suspicious device" near the smoking ballot box, which was already on fire. The Metro Explosive Disposal Unit was called in to handle the device, and Vancouver police confirmed that the fire was extinguished shortly thereafter. With so much at stake, every vote counts all voters should make their voices heard by participating in person voting.

PORTLAND, Ore. — In the wake of ballot box fires in Portland that destroyed hundreds of ballots early Monday morning, election officials are advising voters to verify their ballot status online to ensure their vote counts in the upcoming Nov. 5 general election.

If voters in the Portland area need to check the status of their ballots election officials are asking that voters visit the state online voter registration where they can confirm if their ballot has been marked as "received." If their ballot status does not show as received, they may need to take action to ensure their vote is counted. How will voters be ensured that their ballots were received and won't be invalid if they vote in person under the assumption that the ballot status isn't updated? from the damaged batch of burnt ballots?

Voting in person ensures your ballot reaches us directly and securely, helping keep our election process strong and resilient.

Local election officials emphasize that while ballot fires are rare, it is essential for voters to take proactive steps to confirm their ballot's status, especially after Monday’s incidents. By tracking ballot status, voters can ensure their participation in the election process remains unaffected.

The Clark County auditor told us that the last ballot pickup at that location was 8 a.m.

In incidents like these, authorities typically investigate various angles, including but not limited to asking whether there could be a theory or speculation regarding potential involvement or motive behind the ballot box fires, it is certainly possible. Political Motivation, Vandalism or Arson, Terrorism or Extremism, and lastly, Community Reaction; invoking conspiracy theories, the fires could have been set to provoke reactions from the community, either in support of or against this messy election! and these sudden rash of ballot box fires will lead to heightened tensions or more gossip and political pandering geared for provoking persuasion of said possible election fraud and election tampering~

Sunday. Hundreds of ballots were inside at the time of the burning, and local reporters were told there maybe only a few that could be saved.

it's important to rely on verified information from law enforcement and credible sources as details emerge. Investigators would need to gather evidence and conduct interviews of any potential motives to understand the full context of these fires. As with any ongoing investigation and with November 5, 2024, the election day quickly approaching what else will voters be forced to endure? One thing for sure and two things for certain, the American voting public or not will not be made to feel about this election~
